Page 1: Simile-Metaphor
Task 1 Similie and Metaphor
Metaphor and Simile. These are terms that we learn in language arts. Whats the big deal? I mean who really talks like that anyway?
The truth is that musicians use figurative language all the time to help make their point in lyrics of their songs. I bet you know much more about figurative language than you think you do. As you reach the end of the lesson, you are going to show it by writing your own song and then produce it!
To get started we will listen to a rap on figurative language and then move on with the lesson. (Listen for directions to move to small group)
Tim and Moby’s Introduction to poetry.
